TANKARD - Even after 40 steaming, liver-destroying, gut-stretching years in the name of heavy metal, there's no stopping the Tankard beer train. Just in time for their 40th birthday celebrations, our favorite Frankfurters release "Pawlow's Dawgs", their 18th album and debut for the new label Reaper Entertainment. Produced and recorded at Gernhard Studio Troisdorf, again together with Martin Buchwalter. The taps are polished, the free beer is flowing and five long years after their last studio album, Tankard are finally back to what they do best: thrashing, drinking beer and cleverly combining metal, humor and sarcastic social criticism into one big, roaring party. Just like all those years ago in a classroom where they drank beer out of empty milk cartons. Long live Tankard. Long live the Dawgs.
