Flöz family: Teatro Delusio

TEATRO DELUSIO is a theater within a theater.

TEATRO DELUSIO plays with the countless facets of the theatrical world: between stage and backstage, between illusion and disillusion, a magical space full of touching humanity is created. While all theatrical genres are presented on the stage, which can only be guessed at, from opulent opera and wild sword fights to cold-blooded cabals and hot-blooded love scenes, the stagehands Bob, Bernd and Ivan eke out their existence on the backstage. Three tireless helpers who are only separated from the shining stars of the stage by a sparse backdrop and yet fight for their happiness light years away: the sensitive and sickly Bernd seeks fulfillment in literature, but suddenly finds it in the person of the belated ballerina. Bob's longing for recognition drives him to triumph and destruction. Ivan, backstage boss, doesn't want to lose control of the theater, but loses everything else in the process... Their lives in the shadows of the spotlights are constantly and miraculously intertwined with the glittering world of appearances. Suddenly they themselves are standing on the famous stage that means the world to them.

"We hear the audience cheering and whistling (...) Our imagination gallops (...) The basic idea of "Teatro Delusio" is as simple as it is ingenious." - Berliner Zeitung

"Without words and yet so expressive, poignant and yet full of joy, this is a masterful comedy." - The Guardian
