One casting. Many assaults. Five actresses who fight back. Director Alison Kuhn gives these women and herself a voice. Five young women tell their stories. They all took part in the same casting several years ago and were confronted with systematic assaults, some of a sexual and violent nature. Together they work out what happened back then and courageously share their thoughts and emotions.
The result is a highly topical film about #MeToo and the culture of abuse in the film and performing arts industry, but also for anyone interested in topics relating to the abuse of power in institutional structures and questions about the boundaries of art.
