The Souls

The Souls combine the anthemic energy of The Killers and Kings of Leon with the retro pulse of U2 and add the heart and groove of legends like Bruno Mars, Anderson.Paak and Marvin Gaye. Add to this the lush harmonies of the Beach Boys and the expansive, emotional landscapes of Coldplay and you have a band that is creating the new sound of alternative rock.

The Souls were founded in Bern in 2010. Frontman Jay Messerli, guitarists Luk Kipfer and Michael Finger, bassist Rease Nydegger, drummer Dominik Grossenbacher and keyboardist Raly Scheuing fuse their talents into a coherent, dynamic force. Their debut album "Eyes Closed" (2016) reached number 3 in the Swiss charts and catapulted them onto stages around the world - from the biggest Swiss festivals to shows in Europe, the USA and Singapore.
