The Wailers are back! Probably the most famous reggae band on the planet is coming to Germany for four concerts in summer 2025 and, in addition to their acclaimed new album Evolution, will be presenting a best-of concert to mark the 40th anniversary of Bob Marley & The Wailers' album LEGEND.

Together with Bob Marley, The Wailers have made reggae history. With over 25 million copies sold, Legend, the Best Of by Bob Marley & The Wailers, is the most successful reggae album of all time and the only representative of the genre on the list of the 100 best-selling albums worldwide. In addition to physical sales, the Wailers' music has achieved click figures in the double-digit billion range, with almost 30 million monthly listeners on Spotify alone.

The list of hits is like a reggae encyclopaedia: No Woman No Cry, Is This Love, Three Little Birds, Buffalo Soldier, Redemption Song, Exodus, I Shot The Sheriff, One Love, Stir It Up, Could be Loved, a list that goes far beyond the boundaries of reggae.

After the untimely death of Bob Marley in 1981, it was Aston "Familyman" Barrett who continued the Wailers and breathed new life into them. Now under the experienced leadership of his son, Aston Barrett Jr., The Wailers have lost none of their magic and continue to deliver electrifying performances full of energy and charisma across generations.

In 2024, Aston Barrett Jr. made his acting debut in the film biopic Bob Marley: One Love, released in cinemas on February 14, 2024, in which he portrayed his legendary father, Aston "Familyman" Barrett. The film offers an intimate look into Marley's life, his rise to fame and his profound impact on global music and culture. Barrett Jr. lent authenticity and a personal touch to the film, cementing his role as a custodian of his father's legacy.
