Turmblasen vom Stiftskirchenturm

Every evening from Friday to Sunday on all Christmas market weekends, Stuttgart brass players play from the tower of the Stiftskirche.

Various trombone choirs from Stuttgart and the region climb the 232 steps to the top of the tower, which is around 60 meters high, and then delight Christmas market visitors with their sounds.

Blowing from the west tower of Stuttgart's central collegiate church is one of the city's oldest traditions. There has been regular tower blowing since 1618, currently on Tuesday and Thursday market days at 8.45 am.
