Uli Keuler

"Uli Keuler spielt" is the name of the Swabian cabaret artist's program.

The background against which his characters act is everyday life. And the heroes are familiar to everyone: parenting-conscious fathers, invincible technology disciples, offended husbands and mercilessly sympathetic neighbors. However, Keuler succeeds in bathing the everyday scenery in a rather quirky light and in doing so, manages to gain surprising perspectives from the familiar. And all this without props, costumes or make-up.

Keuler's trademark is a wit that is at times coarse and funny, at times precisely exposing and at times playful. The characters on stage are unmistakably Swabian, but the action could also take place in other parts of Germany.
