Un/sichtbare Zukünfte – Terraforming als kollektives Gestalten

Location:
HuMBASEpartout, Eckartshaldenweg 7, 70191 Stuttgart
Date
June 28, 2025, 6:00 PM

Invitation to explore with the Social Imagineering Space on June 28, 2025, followed by an exhibition of the resulting artifacts on June 29, 2025.

What if the future was malleable - like clay in our hands?

On this evening, we will open up a space in which speculative designs for the future can be created. Using a wide variety of materials - text, image, sound, found objects - we will create imaginary landscapes, spaces of possibility, alternative realities.

The focus is on artistic terraforming: originally a term from science fiction and space research, today it also refers to the idea that we can redesign worlds - both outside and inside. We research playfully, sensually, associatively. What grows when we let go of what we take for granted? What worlds lie dormant beneath the surface of the now?
An evening for anyone who wants to think, dream and build with us - on worlds that may already be in the making.

Feel free to bring materials that inspire you: Lego bricks, modeling clay, found objects, pictures, text fragments and simply your curiosity.

The resulting artifacts will be publicly accessible on 29.06.25.
