You're sitting on the train in the morning, the sun shining on your face. You're still tired, but you're already looking forward to the day ahead - not knowing what will happen today. Who will you see that will make you laugh? What will you experience that will make you frown?

Whether you're swaying, dancing or pensively listening: Valentin Koch uses his music to tell stories that you, the listener, can complete yourself. Together with his long-time friends, he brings his songs to the stage and lets the audience immerse themselves in different stories. The music and the dynamics of the band create space to explore your own emotions. Valentin doesn't want to lecture anyone with his music, doesn't want to push anyone in one direction - on the contrary: open your mind, look far and see where you end up.

Inspired by musicians such as Pat Metheny, John Mayer and Bill Frisell, he reinterprets the pop-jazz and jazz-rock of the past decades in his own way. In doing so, he relies on the power of the few notes that expand on stage, knock on your door and take you with them. A concert where you arrive after a long day and come out lighter at the end.
