The young and brilliant DRESDNER RESIDENZ ORCHESTER under the direction of Prof. Igor Malinovsky will be performing with promising musicians.
Prof. Igor Malinovsky is concertmaster and professor of violin at the Carl Maria von Weber Dresden University of Music. The winner of many international awards, he founded the DRESDNER RESIDENZ ORCHESTER in 2013.
With its extensive repertoire ranging from baroque to modern, the DRESDNER RESIDENZ ORCHESTER performs in a variety of formations from chamber to large instrumental orchestras. The ensemble specializes in specially arranged transcriptions and regularly performs works originally composed for symphony orchestra and excerpts from operas as soloists.
Since 2013, the DRESDNER RESIDENZ ORCHESTER has organized its own year-round concert series "Gala Concerts at the Dresden Zwinger", in which it has already performed over a thousand concerts.
