Rosalind Franklin, Elisabeth Hauptmann, Lise Meitner, Lucia Moholy, Clara Immerwahr - don't you know them? Karl Marx, Bertolt Brecht, Albert Einstein, Pablo Picasso - we all know them. In historiography, the achievements of women have often been made invisible. They were referred to as "muse", "assistant", "wife" or not mentioned at all. Inspired by Leonie Schöler's book "Beklaute Frauen", in this series we present female artists, scientists and inventors who deserve a place in the chronicles. We want to make them visible and tell their stories.
