On this evening, the Wirtschaftsclub im Literaturhaus will focus on two central aspects of its annual theme "Values, economy, visions - what (still) holds us together?".
Stefan Wolf, long-standing CEO of the major automotive supplier Ellring Klinger AG and current President of the employers' association Gesamtmetall, will represent the economy and the world of work. Johannes Schmalzl is Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Würth Foundation, before that he was, among other things, District President and Managing Director of the Stuttgart Chamber of Industry and Commerce. As a former top civil servant and current representative of one of the most important charitable foundations, he stands for aspects of the common good. Both are known for their clear positions and statements. We want to draw a line between the (value) foundation on which we stand and the perspectives that our society offers today. What can and should we do?
