Werner Acker Organ Trio

Jazz, rhythm & blues, soul jazz - the program includes melodies in the typical Hammond style from Wes Montgomery, Larry Goldings, Werner Acker to Pat Metheny.

Werner Acker (guitar, arrangements) was a long-time lecturer at the Musikhochschule Stuttgart and has been a soloist and sideman in various bands and styles for many years. He has played/plays on numerous national and international festival and concert stages with his Roots Band, his organ trios together with Thomas Bauser or Martin Meixner, with Kimi & the Soulmen, Peter Lehel, Ruth Sabadino, the Karl Frierson Soulprint Band, with Helen Schneider, with Jessye Norman, with Chris Thompson, with All That Jazz feat. Silvia Droste, with Wolfgang Dauner, Thomas Siffling's Gentlemen's Choice, Uli Gutscher and as a guest in the SWR Bigband feat. Jeff Cascaro / Paul Carrack / Gerald Clayton / the Swing Legends ... . He has also performed in numerous theater and musical productions with Ute Lemper, among others. As a permanent fixture on the jazz and blues scene, he is a guarantee for stylistic diversity, excellent technique and music performed with great feeling.

Thomas Bauser (Hammond organ) has been a household name in the jazz scene for many years as an authentic Hammond player. His enthusiasm for this cult instrument constantly inspires him to explore the infinite sonic possibilities of the analog Hammond organ and to lend his own unmistakable character to band projects of the most diverse styles. He plays/played with Thomas Siffling Groove Jazz Quartet, Lousiana Red, Jason Marshall, Adrian Mears ... . He is also a lecturer for jazz piano at the Staatliche Hochschule für Musik in Freiburg (Breisgau).

Herbert Wachter is the percussionist of the world-famous brass ensemble "German Brass" (Echo Award winner 2016) and has participated in numerous radio, TV and CD productions. He plays/played with the SWR Big Band, the Stuttgart Chamber Orchestra, Don Menza, Paquito d'Rivera, Sandy Patton, Benny Bailey and the Kammerphilharmonie Graubünden, among others.
