Since 2017, I have performed well over two hundred concerts with my solo program throughout Germany and Austria, interrupted only by an extensive SÜDEN II tour with my friends Pippo Pollina and Martin Kälberer. As is so often the case, touring left little time and opportunity to write new songs. Even during the pandemic, my "pen remained silent".

For a few months now, however, new songs have been flying at me again, as if by magic. I've been bubbling over with musical ideas, spending hours, days and weeks on my guitar tinkering with new songs and lyrics... The result is a jewel box of songs that are deeply close to my heart and express my life transformation over the last 6 years as unvarnished and authentic as possible.

Now over sixty, I am far from being mellow, full or withdrawn. The political and social changes since the pandemic and the start of the Russian invasion of Ukraine have affected me deeply. The deep rifts that have emerged are dividing our families, our society and our shared world.

I also feel doubt, fear and anger within me, but even more strongly the firm belief that we still have it in our hands to stand up together and fight against fear, doubt, division and destruction. To do this, however, we must understand that we as humanity must protect the wonderful wealth of this planet and share life on earth peacefully and fairly. Because one thing is becoming increasingly clear to me: MIA SAN OANS!

It is out of this conviction that I wrote the title song of my new live program and my new album "MIA SAN OANS". To encourage people to overcome the divisions, to finally realize that we are all connected and can only manage to save our planet and ourselves as humanity together. "Oa life or koans."

And so, from October 2023, I will be on the road again solo, with brand new songs, but also with many old songs of the heart, to spend close, personal, but also and above all encouraging, connecting and fun concert evenings with my audience... because, as always, I am determined to enjoy every single evening with you, because: MIA SAN OANS!
