Cosmopolitans - classic and modern

They bring jazz and blues classics from the New York speakeasies of the 1940s to the city of Stuttgart and mix them with refreshing, modern sounds. Emotional ballads and jazz and soul pieces that have left their mark on us. We breathe new life into them with fresh arrangements. The singer Asmar Nadzhafova and the guitarist Natalia Rose belong to the new generation of young and enthusiastic jazz musicians who have come together in Stuttgart from different parts of the world.

They communicate on stage through the strongest language in the world that transcends all borders - music. They are inspired by great artists such as Cannonball Adderley, Kurt Elling and Nancy Wilson and at the same time want to follow the tradition of jazz. The audience can expect a musical adventure from classical sounds to a mixture of modern and experimental styles, evoking the whole range of emotions.

Asmar Nadzhafova - vocals, Natalia Rose - guitar, Christian Walther - drums, Nils Becker - bass, Carl Krämer - sax

BÖE - spherical and airy

These are the three young musicians Ewoud Van Eetwelde from Belgium, Charly Härtel from Cologne and Lisa Wilhelm from Stuttgart, who met in Stockholm in 2021 when the days were getting longer again. Their love of spherical, airy sounds and simple melodies brought them together. An endless summer with balmy nights full of cozy guitar trio sounds.

The label "Pure Tape Recording" immortalized the trio 3 years later with a tape recording by Dominique Klatte in the St. Maria church in Stuttgart. These recordings are now available to purchase as limited edition tapes. For those who do not own a tape machine, there will be an opportunity to hear the music in Germany and Belgium in February 2025.

Ewoud Van Eetvelde - guitar, Charly Härtel - bass, Lisa Wilhelm - drums
