Edmund S., Prime Minister of the former Bavaria, has always known it: Bavaria, the best federal state of all, puts in more effort than all the others put together!
And what does it get out of it? It helps finance the others! He has always dreamed of making Bavaria independent. Bavaria as the England of the Federal Republic! Away from the rest of Germany! Sense with federalism! "Bavaria first"
The dream becomes reality. At least as an illusion.
Who sits in the cabinet, what is the relationship with the friendly states of Austria and Baden-Württemberg? At the end of the evening and the dream, will people say: Oh yes, that would be nice! Or rather: Thank God it's just a dream.
As always, Wolfgang Krebs is all alone on stage, and as always together with many people. He shows what Edmund's dream could look like. When Bavaria goes it alone to prove itself to the world: BAVARIA FIRST!
Press reviews:
" ... somewhere between linguistic art, corny jokes and perfectly placed pauses - that's roughly what you could call Krebs' rhetorical performances, for which he slips into prominent roles. From the inside, if you like, he softens the political seriousness, making fun of the Söders and Stoibers, Seehofers, Aigners and Becksteins in a way in which the man known from film and television (BR) uses parody to create a psychogram of those portrayed and yet still allows a cheerful, friendly banter. (...) and has the pleasant aplomb of not having to laugh at his own jokes. But he doesn't even get embarrassed, he's that good." (Fränkischer Tag)
"As an imitator, he has long since achieved a perfection that almost makes viewers doubt their perception." (Nürnberger Nachrichten)
"Very great stagecraft! (...) The amount of talent, work and skill that went into this show is hard to measure. An almost endless cascade of exuberant creativity poured down on the audience". (Süddeutsche Zeitung)
