WOLFGANG SCHORLAU liest aus BLACK FOREST – DENGLERS ELFTER FALL

Location:
Das Kulturwerk, Ostendstraße 106a, 70188 Stuttgart

Worried about his mother, Georg Dengler travels to the Black Forest. At night, figures creep across the farm where he spent his childhood. Up on the Feldberg, the Dengler family owns a plot of land - the ideal location for a wind turbine. If it weren't for the local opposition. Georg's childhood sweetheart, now his mother's naturopath, is one of the spokeswomen. After the Denglers are forced off on a narrow road, Margret ends up in hospital - and her son is definitely worried. To find what nocturnal intruders might be looking for, Georg rummages through the inventory of several lives tucked away in the corners of the large house. Instead of finding answers, Dengler keeps coming across new questions: Who are the guys in the yard and who sent them? Who was his father before he became a caring husband? Why are there capercaillie droppings on the Feldberg where none of the birds have been seen for years? By the time he realizes that his family is in the midst of bitterly fought battles over the future of our energy production, it is almost too late.
