Wunderwerk Erde - Wie unser Planet funktioniert
- Location:
- Theaterhaus, Siemensstr. 11, 70469 Stuttgart
Dr. Christian Klepp, a geoscientist, landscape photographer and bestselling author, has been exploring the complex workings of the earth system for 30 years. His curiosity and enthusiasm are unbroken: What is our earth made of and how does our planet work?
This lecture is a vivid, comprehensible and understandable declaration of love for our planet. Christian Klepp experiences the Arctic winter as a climate researcher on the "Polarstern", photographs rare rock formations in the desert, hears the bang of an exploding shooting star - and survives a helicopter crash in the Arctic.
In an authentic and well-founded way, he succeeds in sensitizing his viewers to climate change. His mission: to show and explain the adventurous history and the special nature of our planet, because only with this understanding can humanity protect the ecosystems and creatures that are the fragile basis of our existence.
A live lecture to amaze and laugh at, combining science and passion!
Dr. Christian Klepp studied meteorology and geology at the University of Hamburg and received his doctorate in geosciences.
