KESSLER brand ambassador Achim Silberhorn

Thanks to Georg Christian von Kessler Germany's oldest sparkling wine cellar exists today and is located in Esslingen. Georg Christian von Kessler learned the "méthode traditionelle" in Champagne and brought this valuable knowledge back to Württemberg more than 190 years ago. And so, in the medieval cellar of the parent company in Esslingen, sparkling wine is still shaken by hand until it reaches maturity.

This is fortunate for Achim Silberhorn, who as brand ambassador has the beautiful and varied task of representing the premium KESSLER brand at customers and events. A job that gives him the "sunny side" of life, as he says himself!

Despite the fine pleasures his work brings every day (and occasional visits to the starred restaurant Wielandshöhe), he is still rather down-to-earth in culinary terms: Maultaschen with potato salad and Alblinsen with spaetzle and strings are his favourite dishes. But who says that this doesn't go very well with a cool sparkling wine?
