Pearls of architecture: – Tour of Discovery to the Weissenhof Estate

A walk through Stuttgart's city centre with its wealth of fascinating architecture, then by subway to the Killesberg hill and back to the main railway station by bus: on this tour you'll see many of the state capital's architectural gems, present and future. The main highlight is a tour of the Weissenhof Estate on the Killesberg.

The avant-garde buildings of the estate bear the signature of the architects Le Corbusier, Gropius, Mies van der Rohe and Scharoun, who were still young men when the houses were constructed in the year 1927. Today the estate is regarded as one of the leading examples of modern architecture.
